9 15 2 9 0 15 Northern Great Whites Weaver 67 - 65 0.508 81.08 0.37 - Pch continues to be solid but bats ice cold other than Bench. Still has shot if bats heat up.
10 14 9 11 1 8 Sleepytown Dukes Anderson 71 - 59 0.546 80.36 1.58 - bats heat up .279 in Aug but couldn’t score. Saved by Tanana 5-0 1.57era in Aug.

15 18 6 14 (1) 12 Atlanta Crackers Alston 56 - 75 0.427 72.45 -2.62 - unfortunately success in July didn’t carry over. They did hit 29hrs but scored only 96 runs?
16 8 16 15 (1) 13 Texas Fire Ants Weaver 51 - 79 0.392 67.76 -4.49 - strange to see this franchise down here as things have gone from bad to worse.
17 17 15 17 0 17 Cooperstown Double Days Weaver 62 - 68 0.477 62.80 3.20 - 16 wins in Aug making them 29-24 since June as this is turning into impressive season.
18 19 18 19 1 18 Toronto Crown Royals Martin 41 - 88 0.318 52.51 2.21 - another tough season but should finish above #20 for 1st time since 1972.
19 12 20 18 (1) 20 Savannah Shoeless Joes Alston 40 - 89 0.310 51.28 -3.62 - July was bad but Aug got worse with only 4 wins as tm misses Boog.
20 20 17 20 0 16 Florida Elks Anderson 41 - 87 0.320 46.68 -2.34 - after 3 straight seasons at #19 unfortunately might be 1st non-exp tm to finish at #20.
Top 5 Recap
Pittsburgh's 3 month run at the top has come to an end as the preseason #1 team, Burbank, moves up 1 spot to take #1 for the 11th time in their franchise history.
However, Pittsburgh did not fall far as they land at #2 only +.88pts behind the leader but only +1.75pts ahead of #3 St. Louis who moved up 1 spot this month.
The 3rd Anderson Division team, Oregon, fell from #3 to #4 but is still within striking distance of the top spot. Dallas who was the preseason #4 team had fallen
as far as #11 in June, finally wakes up in a big way as they jump 4 spots thanks to a +6.63pts increase in their PI to take over #5. Falling out of the top 5 was
Wellington who sits at #6 but only +1.02pts out of the top 5. 
Fremont is retains sole possession of the #1 offense for 3rd month in a row while St. Louis holds onto the #1 pitching spot for the 5th month in a row.
Other Items of Interest
* The #1 ranked team at season's end has never won the BDWL championship. In 1970 its was #2 Florida, in 1971 it was #2 Fremont, in 1972 it was #4 Dallas, in 1973 #5 Fremont and in 1974 was #2 Cincinnati.
* In 1973, Fremont at #5 was the lowest ranked team at season's end to win the BDWL Championship.
* In 1974, Cincinnati at #11 became the lowest ranked preseason team to win the BDWL Championship.
* In 1970, Great Lake won their Division (Anderson) with the lowest ranking #9 and PI 80.59 in BDWL history.
* Northern who jumped from #15 in preseason to #1 (14 spots) in April became the biggest jump in BDWL history topping the 12 spots by San Diego in April 1973 from their preseason ranking.
* In the history of the BDWL a team has finished with a PI over 100 only 6 times. Here is list:

3. Northern (1972) 106.80
4. Texas (1972) 106.04
5. Texas (1971) 105.80
6. Dallas (1972) 100.83
* In the history of the BDWL, there have only been 9 teams to hold the #1 spot and they are as follows:
1. Texas held it for 11 times (preseason 1971 through Sept 1971 and then June 1973 through September 1973)
2. Burbank held it 11 times (preseason 1972 through April 1972, June 1972 through Sept 1972, May 1974 through September 1974, Preseason 1975 and August 1975 )
3. Cincinnati held it 4 times (preseason 1970, August & Sept 1970 and then preseason 1973)
4. Fort Worth (now Pittsburgh) held it 4 times (April 1970 through July 1970)
5. Dallas held it 3 times (May 1972 & April 1973 through May 1973)
6. Pittsburgh held it 3 time (May 1975 through July 1975)
7. San Diego held it 1 time (Preseason 1974) 
8. St. Louis held it 1 time (April 1974)
9. Northern held it 1 time (April 1975)
