1 | 11 | 1 | (1) | 1 | Burbank Barnstormers | Martin | 20 | - | 6 | 0.769 | 101.11 | 2.68 | - Pch stumbled a bit but Off carried them to 20 wins. Will be surprise if not back at #1 in May. |
3 | 9 | 11 | 8 | 11 | Hunnefield Flyers | Alston | 16 | - | 8 | 0.667 | 96.37 | 17.74 | - solid Pch early but will need to maintain it all season to wrestle Div from Dallas. |
6 | 6 | 2 | (2) | 2 | Oregon Pioneers | Anderson | 16 | - | 10 | 0.615 | 92.89 | 6.11 | - Imprv in Off from #10 to #6 offset drop in Pch from #1 to #6. Prbl with Pch was 26hrs. |
9 | 4 | 5 | 0 | 5 | Pittsburgh Crawfords | Anderson | 16 | - | 11 | 0.593 | 91.70 | 8.81 | - if better than expected Pch continues & Mayberry (.163) & Staub (.227) start to hit watch out. |
10 | 4 | 4 | (2) | 4 | Dallas Hilltoppers | Alston | 18 | - | 8 | 0.692 | 90.06 | 5.21 | - should return to top 5 after teams above come back to earth, too much talent not to. |
4 | 10 | 3 | (4) | 3 | San Diego Conquistadors | Martin | 13 | - | 11 | 0.542 | 90.02 | 3.80 | - 13gms vs 3 of the top 5 Off took its toll on their bully. Should imprv next month. |
13 | 3 | 8 | 0 | 8 | Sleepytown Dukes | Anderson | 15 | - | 12 | 0.556 | 85.03 | 5.20 | - Blue continued to underperform (1-3) but rest of staff picked up the slack & looks solid. |
20 | 1 | 7 | (2) | 7 | St. Louis Shrikes | Anderson | 12 | - | 13 | 0.480 | 79.76 | -0.25 | - May/Hunter/Cuellar looked great but Off managed only 5hrs for entire month. |
16 | 6 | 19 | 9 | 19 | Wisconsin Snow Goblins | Alston | 13 | - | 13 | 0.500 | 74.96 | 11.38 | - great start to season as SP had an unepected 19Qs. This will be nice story if continues. |
2 | 20 | 10 | (1) | 10 | Fremont Indians | Martin | 13 | - | 13 | 0.500 | 72.06 | -7.23 | - SLS & FMI should talk trade. FMI's Off is potent but needs some imprv in Pch to compete. |
5 | 17 | 6 | (6) | 6 | Asbury Park Rockers | Martin | 9 | - | 17 | 0.346 | 71.14 | -9.67 | - thought Preseason rank was high but only 9 wins? PI says more wins are due. |
18 | 6 | 9 | (4) | 9 | Wellington Boots | Weaver | 10 | - | 15 | 0.400 | 70.70 | -8.96 | - disappointing start as bats are ice cold (.229BA). Off should be better than #18. |

| Burbank took over the #1 offense as Fremont fell to #2 while St. Louis takes over the #1 pitching spot from Oregon who fell to #6. | |||||||||||||||
