Top 5 Recap
Fuller takes the top spot by a mile! Despite a -3.87pt drop in September, they ended up with a winning margin of +16.65pts which is the largest spread
between #1 and #2 in BDSL history. Previously the largest margin of victory was +12.86pts by Sleepytown over North Hollywood in 1982. Bay City's
strong September jumped them back into the #2 spot as they held off another strong finisher in Columbia who moved up to #3. Barnett Shale who
were as low as #10 in July finish at #4 as they improved 2 spots in September. Oregon dropped 3 spots and barely remained in the Top 5 as 
Palm Beach closed the gap to .38pts.  Leaving the Top 5 this month was Thunder Bay who dropped from #4 to finish at #7.
Other Items of Interest
* Fuller remains as the #1 ranked offenses and the #1 ranked defense making a clean sweep for the season.
* Fuller retains the #1 spot making it 7 in a row (Preseason through September). Other than LaGrange in April 1983, Sleepytown has held the top spot every other time.
* Sleepytown was the 1st team in BD*L history to be ranked #1 and win the Championship after beating #2 LaGrange in the 1983 World Series.
* Oregon at #7 in 1982 is the lowest ranked team in preseason to make it to the World Series.
* San Diego at #12 becomes the lowest ranked team to win a division as  they take the Martin Division Crown. Previously the lowest rank was #4 (NYC in 1983 & WLK in 1982).
Notes:
Teams on the rise: New York City up 6 spots (#16 to #10) and Barnett Shale up 2 spots (#6 to #4).
Team heading south: Oregon Pioneers (#2 to #5), Thunder Bay (#4 to #7) and Toronto (#9 to #12) all down 3 spots.
