9 9 11 7 (2) Thunderbay Black Jacks Anderson 15 - 12 0.556 77.00 -5.34 - Pch was off in Apr but should improve & keep them in the race for Div.
9 19 5 11 2 North Hollywood Hornets Martin 13 - 13 0.500 77.00 -1.44 - Off lives & dies with Darryl 5 RBI 0 HRs in Apr was death as Off dropped to #19.
11 6 14 3 (8) Chicago Outlaws Alston 15 - 11 0.577 75.38 -9.97 - despite a 4.22 ERA they still won 15gms. Imagine if Pch gets back to #4 ranking.
12 10 11 13 1 Savannah Shoeless Joes Alston 12 - 14 0.462 75.30 -0.99 - off was couple of ticks better but Pch couple of ticks worse keeps them on target for 76.
13 6 17 5 (8) Oregon Pioneers Alston 12 - 13 0.480 70.75 -13.55 - Pch dropped to #17 & they fell to bottom of Div. They should recover in May.
14 11 16 15 1 LaGrange Lone Gunmen Weaver 12 - 13 0.480 67.21 -6.60 - started red hot winning 9 of 12 but finished by losing 10 of 13 to send owner off deep end.
15 15 13 10 (5) San Diego Aztecs Martin 14 - 12 0.538 66.48 -12.60 - Off & Pch both dropped along with PI but SDA has last laugh as they sit atop Div.
16 20 9 6 (10) Sleepytown Dukes Anderson 7 - 17 0.292 65.93 -17.80 - Off was ice cold dropping from #7 to #20. It took 2 1/2 months last yr for them to lose 17.
17 12 17 4 (13) New York City Commuters Martin 10 - 14 0.417 63.98 -20.83 - They need Off to compete, didn’t get it in April & it hurt them. Should recover in May.
18 15 15 14 (4) Toronto Crown Royals Martin 8 - 16 0.333 63.35 -10.49 - nothing clicked in Apr which earned them 16 loses. They are better than a .333% team.
19 15 19 18 (1) Vegas Velvet Knights Weaver 7 - 19 0.269 59.00 -4.60 - not a good month despite getting better than expected Off. Tough to be in Div w/FLF & CLS.
20 11 20 20 0 London Rippers Anderson 9 - 16 0.360 57.60 2.95 - good news is Off imprv from #18 to #11 but bad news it only got them 9 wins.
Top 5 Recap
Fuller retains the top spot despite a surge by Columbia who improved their PI by +11.19pts. Columbia sits at #2 and cut into Fuller's preseason
margin of +10.63. Decatur came from the bowls of the ranking in preseason to finish at #3 which is their 1st visit to the top 5. Bay City is the 2nd 
of 3 teams to make a long journey into the top 5 as they started at #9 in preseason and now are at #4, while Kingston finishes at #5 after starting 
at #16 in preseason. Chicago, Oregon and New York City all dropped out of the top 5 this month.
Other Items of Interest
* Fuller remains as the #1 ranked offenses and the #1 ranked defense.
* Fuller retains the #1 spot making it 2 in a row. Other than LaGrange in April 1983, Sleepytown has held the top spot every other time.
* Sleepytown was the 1st team in BD*L history to be ranked #1 and win the Championship after beating #2 LaGrange in the 1983 World Series.
* Oregon at #7 in 1982 is the lowest ranked team in preseason to make it to the World Series.

Teams on the rise: Decatur up 16 spots, Kingston up 11 spots (#16 to #5), Wellington 9 spots (#17 to #8), Barnett Shale up 6 spots (#12 to #6) and Bay City up 5 spots (#9 to #4).
Team heading south: New York City down 13 spots (#4 to #17), Sleepytown 10 spots (#6 to #16), Oregon (#5 to #13) & Chicago (#3 to #11) 8 spots and San Diego 5 spots (#10 to #15).
